What's New
"The Tree City Tornado," was back in action on Saturday night, September 24 at the Paragon Speedway in Paragon Indiana. This was the Mike Johnson Memorial Race and Stapp competed in this same event 10 years prior in 2006. J.T. started off blistering fast on a tacky Paragon surface in Hot Laps and would be running 4th in his Heat Race, closing in on 3rd, when he was slammed hard in the left side by another competitor!! Stapp would still hold on to finish 5th, which was one transfer spot out. He would've lined up on the pole for the 2nd B-Main, but a bent fuel injection nozzle would prevent him from continuing! It was very frustrating for the JDS Motorsports Browns Oil Service Team; as they would've transferred out of the B-Main without any problem.
Stapp will be back in action this Saturday night, October 1st at the 3/8 mile high-banked clay oval of Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg Indiana!!! This is a USAC National Sprint Car event that pays $10,000 to Win and $500 just to start the 22 car, 30 Lap, A-Main!! He will pilot the JDS Motorsports Browns Oil Service #74 Maxim with a Mark Cummins Chevy!! Gates Open at 5:00, Hot Laps at 6:00, and Racing at 7:00. General Admission is $25!!! Pit Passes are $30.
Come on out, root on, and scream for "The Tree City Tornado!"
